Former Arsenal keeper Jens Lehmann: Wojciech Szczesny has 'got everything' to become a top class keeper

Wojciech SzczesnyFormer Arsenal goalkeeper Jens Lehmann believes that Wojciech Szczesny has everything required to become one of the best goalkeepers around.

Szczesny, 20, who started the season as Arsenal’s third choice keeper, has come a long way since then and has put in some outstanding performances so far
The young Pole came to the fore after injuries to Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski gave him the opportunity to impress, and so far, Lehman has been very impressed.

"He has got everything he needs apart from the experience and the maturity, so he needs to work hard. He is very talented," Lehman said according to the official Arsenal website.

Lehmann also believes that the Gunners, who haven’t won any silverware since 2005, will end their trophy less drought come the end of the season.
"I think now they are coming to the end of this transition period that started after we won our last Cup. It was always obvious that Arsène wanted to change the team, and he had to," he said.

“The boys have matured now, so I hope that they are going to win the title.”
