I have teamed up with Uhlsport Goalkeeping Products to deliver some much needed goalkeeping coaching courses to our young goalkeepers.
I am planning to run a few goalkeeping schools for a trial period over the next few weeks in Belfast each Saturday morning from 09:30 to 11:00. The venue is still to be confirmed. The coaching will be delivered by current and ex-professional Irish league goalkeepers and highly-qualified coaches (Soccer and GAA) with the backing of Uhlsport, one of the world’s largest goalkeeper product companies in the World. Uhlsport Endorsee currently includes Alan Blaney of Linfield FC and Northern Ireland as well as David Miskelly of Portadown FC and Brendan McVeigh of Down GAA and an Ireland All Star 2010/11.
When up and running, the coaching courses will work with 'keepers of all abilities, ages – and sexes – to develop their goalkeeping skills, with plenty of fun along the way. We are dedicated to working with local clubs, building long standing relationships and improving goalkeepers of all levels but especially at grass root level.
To run this event successfully I would require approximately 10 goalkeepers between the ages 10 to 13 years.
If you are interested in attending contact me ASAP so I can get a start date arranged.
